Guild Core Values

 What are organizational core values?

Core values are the central, guiding beliefs, ethics and principles that govern a company’s decision making and actions and serve as the foundation for company culture and the behaviors expected by its workforce.  They also frame how an organization deals with customers, partnerships, and stakeholders.

As an Arts Guild artist or community member we abide by the following core values:

We strive to achieve the highest quality results through the spirit of excellence, inspiring and motivating us to continuously share best technical practices and improve our creative work, gallery installations, organizational operations and our reputation to the outside world.

Kindness:  Our Superpower

We act with kindness to all members and customers to foster a safe environment and build connections through understanding, empathy, support, and recognition.

Teamwork

As an arts guild, we are a team.  Working together we are inclusive and bring different skills and perspectives to achieve efficiencies, innovation, team bonding, learning and development to make our guild the very best it can be.  We resolve differences through appropriate channels.

 Respect

We treat all Guild members, community members and customers with dignity and worth – no matter their background, position, or opinions. We acknowledge the unique contributions each individual makes in furthering the goals of the organization.

We are upfront and forthcoming with information, insights, and processes creating a culture where truth is at the forefront and relationships are built on trust.  We act ethically and transparently in all business dealings, prioritizing doing the right thing over personal gain.

We are committed to sharing and furthering art and its importance throughout our community.
