Donna Loftus
A native of San Francisco who was raised in Marin County, Loftus brings a deeply personal and intuitive approach to her work. Since retiring, she has embraced painting as a central creative pursuit, exploring a range of mediums and subject matter with curiosity and joy. Her work reflects a strong connection to color and the natural world, often drawing inspiration directly from what she observes around her.
Loftus’s paintings span abstract compositions, landscapes, and still life, unified by a sensitivity to color and atmosphere. Her artistic development includes studies at the College of Marin as well as private and group instruction. She has exhibited widely throughout the Bay Area, with her work featured at the Marin Society of Artists in San Rafael, Fred’s in Mill Valley, and the Locali and Coit Tower gift shops in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood. She is also an award-winning artist, recognized multiple times by the Marin Society of Artists, where she continues to exhibit.
