Zaza Fetterly was born in Paris, France. She exhibited her art for the first time in San
Francisco in 1991. In 1992 she began welding.
“From the moment I lit the torch, I knew I had found my art medium. Metal is like ink;
when it’s melted, it releases the power of improvisation.”
Zaza lives between Napa and Sonoma where she raises her son Nicholas. She exhibits
each year in France.
