Thena was introduced to gourds in 1998 and was captivated by their incredible variety of
shapes and sizes.
For her they provide unlimited opportunity to create anything from teapots to dragons.
She uses a mini jigsaw, a wood burning tool, glue, paper clay, dyes and acrylic paints to
cut and reassemble gourds into something out of the ordinary, often whimsical.
