Susan Heeringa-Pieper has been an artist since being placed on this earth. Her work is
conceptual in nature, focusing on universal, and spiritual truths. She uses a combination
of mixed media including bees wax, wire, found objects, and oil and acrylic paints.
She holds a degree in art is from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, with an associate
degree in graphic arts.
Her work is included in the permanent collection of Rene'Di Rosa, the prominent Northern
California Art Collector. She has been exhibited at the Dia De Los Muertos Show at
Sonoma Valley Museum of Art, won the best of show at the Erotica Exhibit at the Arts
Guild of Sonoma Gallery, as well as the "Spiritual, Opening in Art", at the Sebastopol Art
Center.
Her work can also be viewed at "Rhapsody", in downtown Sonoma, the Barking Dog in
Boyes Hot Springs.
